William worked as a heavy-duty technician at SMS Equipment in Fort McMurray, AB, for many years, and was looking forward to a retirement filled with hunting, fishing and adventurous travel with friends and his growing family.

Richard Sluchinski, beloved husband of Jayne Sluchinski (nee Hoggan), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at the age of 53 years. Richard knew the value of education and stability, managing to achieve both. He was a proud Instrumentation Technologist with Suncor for many years. Richard surrounded himself with lifelong friends and kind co-workers who admired his infectious optimism.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Clayton Boyd Schamehorn announce his sudden passing on November 20, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

Brian Campbell will be remembered by the senior Members as a Job Steward in Mine Maintenance, and later as President of the Local 707. For others, he will be remembered as the Union’s National Rep, assigned to help with the Local in his last few years working.

With our condolences to family, friends and co-workers, we confirm the recent passing of a colleague, Rick Beadle, on September 11, 2014. Rick was hired by Suncor on April 1, 2004 and was a valued employee for over 10 years in Suncor’s Mine Operations Department.As the family grieves the loss of loved one, Rick will be remembered as a positive force in the lives of many. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and co-workers during this difficult time.
